In this user research plan, I provide a roadmap to evaluate a tool's proficiency in aiding scientists to identify optimal treatment responses. I've pinpointed the primary audience and delve into the motivations of scientists in biomedical research. Ideal journey mapping is key, shedding light on user experiences and revealing opportunities for improvement. By mapping user tasks, I propose a framework to evaluate navigation, comprehension, and satisfaction with desired features. These metrics ensure that my research not only pinpoints user challenges but also aligns with the product's ultimate goal: simplifying the literature search and selection process with minimal consultation of external tools. With a focused testing strategy on definitive usage moments, I intend to refine the tool's alignment with user expectations. Finally, I describe a strategy to balance research insights with specific success metrics and constraints.
